Review of the Time Wreccas from Pitshanger books
Now, normally I don’t care for this kind of gratuitous mis-spelling but I will make an exception for this book because it is very engaging. The Wreccas live underground beneath Greenwich Park and are like the anti-Wombles, living in chaos and squalor (a very adolescent state) and the heroine, who nearly derails Time itself, is called Snot. This is the perfect fantasy for the grunge generation and the very promising start of a trilogy.
