Review of the Time Wreccas from Primary Times in Northamptonshire

Unbeknown to humans, the Guardians live among them guarding Time while Underneath lie their enemies, the dirty Wreccas. When young Wrecca, Snot, is sent to find out where the Guardians keep the Tick – a part vital to keeping time going – she finds a clean, organised world that appeals to her far more than her own. Neither she, nor the other Wreccas have any idea of the dire consequence of stealing the Tick. It’s a race against time to get it back and avert catastrophe, requiring some unexpected alliances. This is the first in an exhilarating new series ‘The Greenwich Chronicles’. It’s full of well rounded characters, not all of whom are likeable, but all are interesting. I’m looking forward to the next story. Long read for capable readers.
