The main characters in The Time Wreccas
Old Killjoy - is the leader and the nastiest of them all. He is sadistically cruel and a ferocious fighter. This would explain how he became the leader, because even on Wrecca standards, he is not very bright. He relies on others to be his brains and then accepts all the praise that is rightfully theirs. He has a murderous temper, enjoys showing off and is only concerned with his own comfort. All Wreccas should be terrified of the leader.
Snot - is a young girl with spirit. Children are not valued in the Underneath and so she leads a miserable life, constantly cold, frightened and hungry.
Scratch - is Old Killjoy's second-in-command in The Time Wreccas. He gets his name because he has long, carefully sharpened nails that he uses as weapons on anyone who is annoying him. He has more brain than most Wreccas and so Old Killjoy relies on him to make plans and solve problems. Scratch never gets the credit for these. He hides the resentment this causes.
Sniff - is long and bony. He sniffs a lot.
Snivel - is a small boy. He is terrified of everyone and cries and snivels much of the time. He is despised by all.
Scaggy - is an older girl who used to help Snot when she was too little to fend for herself.
Slime - is a particularly revolting Wrecca, who has slime seeping out of his nose and ears. He often wipes them on a foul cloth that is caked in dried ooze.
